If you want PVC window blinds, you should instead choose wood or aluminum blinds. They are both produced from renewable resources and environmentally friendly materials and will not harm your health or the environment.
If you decide to go with wood blinds, look for styles constructed from pressure-treated wood or wood salvaged from old buildings that have been torn down. Aluminum blinds are safe because they do not contain PVC. In addition, they won’t need to be recycled.
