When applying epoxy paint to floors, it may be applied in either a wet or dry method. The wet method is typically used to repair cracks and chips in garage floors and smooth out surface imperfections. It involves painting the epoxy over a wet concrete surface roughened with an acid etching solution.
Instructions for applying Epoxy paint to a concrete floor; first, clean the concrete floor with water and a strong detergent. Then rinse with clean water and dry completely. Apply one coat of epoxy paint with a roller or sprayer.

After cleaning, rinse the area with water and let it dry completely before walking on it. Epoxy flooring does not require soap; a decent mop or deck-scrubbing brush would suffice. If you need more scrubbing force, use a gentle soap to help with the harder messes or spills.
However, don’t leave any soapy water on your floor as you clean the floor. If you do, it may cause damage to the epoxy finish.
If your epoxy floor is newly installed, you may notice some bleeding or cloudiness around the edges of the tiles. This bleeding is caused by the curing process and should disappear in a couple of weeks. Because epoxy floors are not porous (unlike tile), it will be difficult to scratch them and impossible to change their color.
