What Is A Composite Window Sill?
A composite window sill is a Polystyrene resin composite with marble aggregates the finish is smooth, with round edges and a drip on the underside. Resistance to acids, acetone, detergents, grease, and other chemicals.
Fiberglass, on the other hand, is a woven mat with a plastic resin formed in it. It may be solid or hollow, depending on the designer’s choice. The material is not affected by chemicals and may be cleaned with soap and water.

Can I Grow Tomatoes On A Window Sill?
Yes. Windowsill tomatoes are the simplest and most cost-effective way to enjoy fresh tomatoes indoors all winter.

- A few plants to start with
- Potting soil. Organic is best, but regular garden soil will work in a pinch.

People have grown their tomatoes on window sills. Chickens, however, are a tricky matter. Obviously, chickens want to spend daylight hours in warm environments, and your window sill is not warm enough to satisfy them. Warm the sill with a heater or simply place your chicken bed in another part of your house.
Many people who live in cold climates place their coolers on the ledge to keep their soup and beer chilled while they are at work. This is also possible with casseroles and other dishes that need to stay hot during service hours. People often grow plants like begonias and African violets on window sills as well.
