Additionally, it’s important to consider factors such as shrinkage, bond strength and the material’s dimensional characteristics.

Other factors to consider include freeze-thaw resistance, water vapor transmission, compressive strength, flexural strength and abrasion resistance. Ultimately, finding the right material may involve compromising on some factors and taking cost into consideration.
