How Do You Clean Concrete Tiles?

Like any other type of floor surface, concrete tile will become filthy. Whether the concrete tile is on an outdoor patio or a basement floor, periodic cleaning is required.

Concrete’s porous nature causes it to accumulate minute debris and dust particles. Even if your concrete tile does not appear unclean, cleaning it will considerably improve its appearance.

Allowing filth and grime to accumulate on your concrete floor can make cleaning more difficult and time-consuming.

Here is how you can clean concrete tiles;

Step 1

Clean the concrete tiles of any loose dirt, dust, or debris. Sweep the floor using a broom or vacuum cleaner. If you’re going to use a vacuum cleaner, ensure it’s suitable for use on hard floors.

Step 2

Fill a bucket halfway with hot water. Wait about five minutes for the oxygen bleach powder to dissolve completely in the water after adding 4 oz. Pour 2 liters of water into a separate bucket for rinsing.

Step 3

Soak a scrub brush with a long handle in the cleaning solution. Using the cleaning solution, scrub the concrete floor tiles. While cleaning, frequently rinse the scrub brush.

Step 4

Depending on the floor’s unclean, leave the oxygen bleach mixture on the concrete floor tiles for 10 to 30 minutes. The longer the mixture must remain on the tiles, the dirtier the floor.

Step 5

Rinse the floor with a mop and clean rinse water if cleaning indoors or a garden hose if cleaning outside. Mop the floor many times to verify that the cleaning solution has been washed away. As the bucket of rinse water becomes clogged with cleaning solution residue, discard it and replace it.
