How Do You Replace Blinds On A Pella Window?
If you’ve got a Pella window and you want to replace the blinds, here’s how to do it:
- Measure the width and height of the window and find the appropriate blinds-the Pella windows are usually pretty standard sizes for their style. Make a note of the distance from the top of the window to the bottom and from left to right. Get a new blind set that best fits your needs and install it. Do note that you may need a professional if your Pella window is anything but standard in size or style.
- Open the blinds and measure the width and height of the opening: you want the blind to be a shade smaller than it is to stay in alignment with the window. Unless you’re good with math, this is unnecessary for Pella windows, but you should measure any larger windows. Purchase blinds from your local hardware store or online. Pella windows come with two sets of blinds: a short set (for when it’s sunny or windy) and a long set (for when it’s dark).
- Compare the measurements to the dimensions of the new blinds:
