Check ump or hose for clog
Socks and other small pieces of clothing can occasionally enter the drain system and clog the pump hose or the pump itself. Check the hoses for any clogs before removing them from the pump.
Check the Door Lock Motor and Switch
During operation, the door lock keeps the washer door shut. When the washing door is closed, the washer might start up.
The door switch will prevent the washer from working if the washer door is not locked shut. The washer will not spin or start if the door lock is broken.

Check the Lid Switches
When the lid is open, the lid switch feature prevents the washer from spinning. The washer will not drain if the lid switch assembly breaks.

Check Water Pump Belt
Most older washing machines include a water pump belt. The washer will not drain if the water pump belt is broken or worn out. Check the belt for symptoms of severe wear and replace it if necessary.
Check if any Trap materials
Some washers include a coin trap to catch any foreign material that enter the drain. The coin trap should be checked and cleaned on a regular basis.
If debris accumulates in the coin trap, it will become clogged and the washer will not drain correctly. If the washer won’t drain or isn’t draining properly and has a coin trap, remove the coin trap and thoroughly clean it.
Check for Drain Hose
To begin, inspect the drain hose to see whether it is kinked, twisted, or bent. Straighten the drain hose if it is crooked. Remove the drain hose and inspect it for clogs. If there are any clogs in the drain hose, try to remove them. Replace the drain hose as necessary.
Inspect the door strike assembly for any damage. Replace the door strike if it is broken. If the door strike is broken, it cannot be repaired; it must be replaced.
